Pocket Money Polishes Ice Ice Baby

Today I have another beautiful polish from Pocket Money Polishes. This UK Indie brand looks like a real success story. Having already reviewed and fallen in love with My Girl, when I saw swatches of Ice Ice Baby I knew I had to have it! I stalked her website for the appointed launch hour and dived in quick to be certain to get one of these and I am not disappointed!
Ice Ice Baby is made up of large silver hexes, silver and minty green hexes and tiny silver squares. I swatched it over a few colours, including some pale greens but found the green got lost so I've gone for more of a contrast. It looked great over pale grey and white, but since I am still wearing Blueberry Muffin, I thought this would be a great base for Ice Ice Baby and I am very pleased with the finished mani, I think the purple is a great background for the green & silver.
This glitter went on well, although I did have to fish for the big glitters as I forgot to tip it upside down first! My first coat had only one big hex, and actually I liked the look without the big hexes, but since I had one I thought I'd better fish for some more, and that was easy once I'd turned it over for a few moments.
Knitty Nails is seriously behind on knitting just at the moment, too much else going on, including a poor kitten on cage rest because he broke his leg, and no woollies in these shots because at long last it is too warm for woollies!! yay for the sunshine, but not for poor Malteazer and his broken leg :(
Anyway, seeking something purple for my photos I remembered the passion flower that grows madly in my garden despite appalling neglect, so here are a few pics, some in direct sunshine and a few in the shade.
