The polish I have used today is Deck The Halls, and it is a very delicate glitter made up of small pinky/ red hexes and tiny pale gold glitter, in some lights it looks silver, which is great because it means it will go with almost any colour.
I have done a couple of quick swatches over black and red, and had planned to swatch this over a dark red but I felt it would look good over another Belle Glamour polish I had just tried, the thermal polish, Dark Forrest.
Not only does it look great over this polish but it gives me the chance to show the glitter over dark green and a much paler shade too. The black and red swatches are also shown at the end of this post, over Nails Inc Black Taxi and A England Rose Bower.
This was a very easy glitter to apply, pictures show just one coat with great glitter distribution. The tiny glitters are very sparkly and smooth too, giving an almost foil like quality to the nail in some lights. When my nails were cold the contrast of pink and gold against the deep green was just stunning, and when warm the pinky/red was very pretty whilst the gold glitter blended in very beautifully with the pale shimmer of Dark Forrest.
Lots of pictures to try and capture just how pretty this in, including some shots of the thermal gradient which looks great under the glitter.
