It is less purple than its name would suggest, I would say more of a magenta shade but very pretty nonetheless. It is a magenta shimmer with fine holographic glitter. In low levels of light the glitter is mainly red but in brighter light and sunlight you get the full colour spectrum.
This is quite a thick polish so I applied one coat over a dark undie. I am not keen on using more than one coat when opaque polish has glitter in it as I can't bear glitter to be covered up. The indie wasn't a perfect match but this polish has covered it completely and has not distorted the colour at all. What's on my nail looks identical to what's in the bottle.
This painted on nicely and dried quickly. The delicate glitter is very pretty but a devil to capture on camera!
