Jacava Black Forest Gateau

I have a beautiful luxurious classic colour on my nails today. Jacava Black Forest Gateau is a deep dark red, absolutely the colour of black cherries.
With the first coat, it paints on like a dark pink but as you put the second coat on the red darkens and the hint of blue is there, marking this a beautiful deep burgundy shade.
As usual with Jacava, it painted on beautifully in two coats, with a super glossy finish. I think this is one of their newer shades, as it certainly wasn't on the list that was available when I first fell in love with Jacava, otherwise I feel certain I would have bought it sooner.
I adore colours like this in the winter time, they just feel so luxurious! and is that my tummy rumbling because I am now thinking about chocolate cakes with cherries? Now that would be perfect with a cup of tea on a dull January afternoon!
I've just been having a little look on their website and I spy some rather lovely new varnishes coming out soon too - oh dear, I think I want almost all of them!
In the meantime, just have a look at this beauty!
