Today I have another thermal polish, because they are so much fun!
When cold the polish is white, but the delicate blue glitter remains, making this a very pretty polish whatever the temperature. The shades of blue between white and the final deep cobalt blue are lovely and all enhanced by the fine sparkly glitter.
I avoided the dreaded VNL by using Nails Inc Colville Mews as my base for this. Most of the thermals I have tried are rather sheer at their coolest stage so I chose the palest nude that still gave full coverage without distorting the colour. I think a pure white would have been too stark, whilst the pale nude just looks like a natural nail should look like! I used two coats of Lagoon and was perfectly happy with the finish.
I had a bit more success capturing the thermal gradient, had to cheat a bit with very warm hands and a bag of frozen sweetcorn to dip the tips into, mad but worth it to show the colour range!
I really like this polish, love the glitter and the colour variation. I love glitter and blue, and thermals are "cool", so what's not to like!!
