I keep saying it and now I am actually going to give the blog a rest.
I don't have time to do it and really don't enjoy it any more.
Too many other things to do, too little time!
Here is the mani that should have been blogged today - 26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Creatures with scales...
A dragon, obviously!

Nail Crazies Unite - Neon Floral
Well this was mad week! Work was busy and of course it was birthday week, so I hadn't really planned what I would do for this mani.
However, during the week I received a beautiful new stamping plate from my lovely friend Iva @secretjewelgarden and I had also ordered a purple neon stamping polish (because I seemed not to have purple???) - that arrived on Thursday so I used the purple neon over a mani I had already done, using the same stamping plate from Iva over my fanbrush mani.
So - stamping plate : Moyra Plate 41 Florality 3, stamping polish : Hit the Bottle High Voltage Violet.
The end result was perhaps not as neon as it could have been but I liked it!

26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Things that are round
This week's prompt was Things that are round - I wasn't sure whether to take this literally or try and be clever. I wasn't feeling clever and I do have this great new plate from Clear Jelly Stamper, CJS-53 - a whole plate of dots, rings and circles - of course it was the plate to use.
I started with a pretty holo base. I had just bought A England Shakespeare's Fairies collection and the lightest polish, Titiana Fairy Queen, can also be used as a topper so I tried it over a black base.
I used Clear Jelly Stamper CJS-53 with Painted Polish Stamped in Taupe and basically just tried a few images. I liked it but it didn't feel very balanced across all the nails so I added a second layer of random-ish stamping with Colour Alike Kind of White. I am still getting the hand of clear jelly stamping - the angle of scrape, the scraper, the type of polish - all seem to be a bit more sensitive than conventional stamping so it is still a bit hit and miss. Pictures are also a bit rubbish, light was terrible and the photos are not at all crisp. All good as long as you don't zoom in!

Nail Crazies Unite - Modern Art
I combined 3 prompts for this so I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself.
April is a busy month - it's year end at work, it's a mad mani month when hundreds of people seem to have birthdays and oh yeah! Me - I am going to be 50 - if I have time I need to fit in some celebrating!
Anyway, I started with a base of A England Puck A Fairy, just one coat was enough for good coverage but beware, I didn't have gels on and this did stain a little, so gel base or double base coat next time.
I then did my fanbrush mani with Attitude Masking Tape (most silly name ever) and Barry M Flamingo.
Then I made decals on my Uber Mat with those same three colours. I tried a technique I had seen Kyong Lee do recently, and not dissimilar to the way I sometimes do my fanbrush manis but just using the polish brushes. I cut the decals into thin strips and added them to the center of each nail so the streaks were at 90 degrees to the fanbrush strokes.
Finally I stamped a scribbly image from Lina Make Your Mark 02 with A England Proserpine.
My son is doing GCSE art but I don't think he was really impressed with my efforts..never mind, I really liked them.
