26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Work Appropriate Nail Art

Work Appropriate Nail Art - I am sure we will all interpret this differently but I read it as nails that were suitable for work. I work from home and never see anyone so for me anything goes but I believe that this would be the sort of nails that would be acceptable if I worked in an office meeting clients, or maybe attending interviews.
In other words subtle, understated. I'd hate to think I'd ever have to have naked nails although after six months of wearing gels my nails do look a better colour!
Anyway, I went for a pale khaki shade, Gellifique 6020 in their one step gel range.
Then I stamped the pretty cherry blossom image from Messy Mansion MM77XL with A England Fotheringhay Castle. This was not quite the same shade, different enough for the stamping to be visible but not in your face!

Nail Crazies Unite - Pastel Floral

This week's prompt was pastel floral. As it happened I was doing a pastel fanbrush mani, and once I'd done it I decided it would be a great base to add flowers to for this prompt.
The base was Barry M Surfboard, Barry M Laguna and Danglefoot Polish Wolverine, so I already had pink, blue and yellow. I chose Colour Alike Berry Smoothie and Colour Alike Mint to add green and purple to the mani.
I started with the minty green and Lina 4 Seasons - Spring 01. Then I added a more delicate image from the same plate with Berry Smoothie so that I wouldn't obscure the other colours.
The final mani was pretty but very subtle! (I stamped something very dark over it later 😄)

26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Pastel to bold gradient with something on top

This was an intriguing prompt, of course something on top meant stamping! but I did need to make sure I chose something that would stand out well over the whole gradient.
I decided I'd go pale blue to bold pink using Barry M Laguna, a really pretty pale blue and Kiko 361, a gorgeous striking pink.
Then I stamped with Lina 4 - Seasons Spring 01 with A England Polovetsian Dances.
This was such a simple mani but I really liked it and wore it for a couple of days before reluctantly removing it.

Nail Crazies Unite - Hippy / Boho

This weeks prompt was Hippy or Boho. I went for colourful flowers over a very bight lime green base.
I had recently bought some Kiko polishes in a 5 for £5 offer and thought I'd see if they stamp - well it seems that they do! Some were brighter than others but I was pretty impressed with them.
I triple stamped Lina 4 Seasons - Spring 01 with Kiko 280 (orange), 333 (purple) 361 (pink) over Gellifique One Step Gel 6022 (lime green).
I added a matte top coat to see if I could get better photos but I have to say, either way, glossy or matte, these did look better in real life. I think the bright base really upset my camera!!
