40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Inspiration

The prompt for this week was Inspiration - it comes from all sorts of places: sometimes it feels like it won't come at all and other times I have so many ideas I can't choose.
For this mani I decided to use my recent holiday for inspiration. We went to Lanzarote and although I knew it would be beautiful and there'd be volcanoes, I wasn't prepared for the cactii - I have never seen so many and while we were there we visited the Jardin du Cactus where there are 7,000 cactii, 1,400 varieties!
I took a lot of photos! Don't worry, I won't post them all!
Anyway, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to use the Uber Chic: Uber Mini Succulents plate, so I stamped with Colour Alike's new wonderful neon Green Light over a red, yellow and green fanbrush mani.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Orange and brush strokes

The most recent prompt for 40 Great Nail Art Ideas was orange and my pattern prompt was brush stokes.
I decided to do mine over my fanbrush mani since the main colour on that was the gorgeous China Glaze Riveting.
I think I need to practice brush strokes - they look more like blobs than brush strokes but I did try! Next time I think I'll do a few practice runs on my Ubermat first.
I used Virtuous Polish Diligence and Colour Alike Juicy Tangerine as I don't have a lot of orange polishes. It's possible using stamping polished didn't help my attempts!
Anyway, despite my reservations, they got a reasonable number of likes on Instagram so hopefully not a complete failure. I was more disappointed that the camera failed to pick up just how neon Virtuous Polish Diligence was.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Things in the water

Really quick post for this this.
I used Bundle Monster Fuzzy and Ferocious BM-S166 and Avon Iceberg White over my blue smoosh. The little sea animals on this plate are so cute and they stamped really nicely.
I thought they looked great over the blue, grey and silver smoosh.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Yellow and Silver - Aztec

I am a bit behind with this challenge, so this is from 2 weeks ago - Yellow and Silver was the colour and Aztec was my pattern prompt.
I decided to stay just with those colours but I didn't think silver and yellow would be enough of a contrast so I used the darkest polish that I thought I could still call silver, A England King Arthur and stamped with Esmaltes da Kelly Bee and MJ XXVIII.
I have to say, although neither yellow or silver would be colours I would rush to wear, I really liked this combination and this is a really pretty aztec pattern on the MJ plate.
