Very simple mani but I thought it was cute!

Nail Crazies Unite - Winter Animals
This week's prompt was winter animals. I have a bit of a thing for arctic foxes so I used one of my favourite Messy Mansion images to stamp white foxes over my fanbrush mani.
I did the fanbrush as a gradient this week with the intention of it being some sort of sunrise or sunset.
I used Messy Mansion MM34 with Avon Iceberg White.

26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Embellished / 3D
This week's prompt was Embellished or 3D. Anyone who knows me will know I hate anything 3D on my nails so I googled embellishments to see if I could interpret it any other way.
To my delight, the definition I found said "make (something) more attractive by the addition of decorative details or features" - see! no mention of having to stick anything on!
I had just done my Friday fanbrush mani and I just received my new Big Bling Clear Jelly Stamper and a gorgeous snowflake plate, Clear Jelly Stamper CJS - C14 so I have embellished my fanbrush mani with the addition of beautiful snowflakes!
The stamper worked first time, no priming needed but I still need to master the art of picking up the smaller images.
My Moyou London White Knight has pretty much dried up so I stamped with Colour Alike Kind of White which is one of my favourites for good crisp white stamping.
I did not do any layering as I felt it wouldn't look great over the fanbrush, not all the images on the plate are for layering (or certainly they don't have to be layered). I do love a snowflake mani, the best thing about winter!!!

Nail Crazies Unite - Gold Snowflakes
This week's prompt was Gold Snowflakes and as soon as I saw the prompt I knew exactly what I was going to do.
One of the few improvements on IG is the facility to save a post, and back in December I saw something I really loved and saved it! A stunning gold and purple snowflake mani by Manuela @manumanufatti.
I started with a base of 'Ard As Nails Starlight, a stunning multichrome which goes from green through red to purple. Interestingly it looks mostly red/green indoors and the purple is only apparent outdoors.
I then stamped my snowflakes with Hehe Fairytale 003 and Colour Alike Supernova. Super Nova is a gold green duochrome but it looks gold often enough to be used here I think.
I have included Manuela's mani here so you can see my inspiration.

26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Metallic + one colour
This week's prompt was Metallic + one colour. It was probably inevitable that I would choose blue and I did just happen to have the gorgeous A England Katherine Parr waiting in line to be worn!
One of my most exciting Christmas presents was the gift of stamping plate designed by my lovely friend Natasha Dauncey in collaboration with Clear Jelly Stamper.
Natasha loves all things Moroccan, so not surprisingly the plate is a lovely combination of Moorish layering images - (the plate is CJS LC-26).
My choice of stamping polish was perhaps not so Moroccan but I don't have that many chrome/metallic polishes - I chose Barry M Liquid Chrome Bright Lights and 2 True Pro Metallica Athena.
I need some more practice as my layering and lining up is by no means perfect but I was really happy with the overall look of the mani.
