This week's prompt was Animal print in the wrong colors (colours)
I decided to go purple, I have never seen a purple leopard although I am sure that would be a beautiful sight!
This was a really simple mani. I started with base of Kiko 331, a lovely shade of purple and then I used Lina Get Wild 01 and A England Polovetsian Dances for the stamping.
I think they turned out quite well and I was pleased I had gone for similar rather than contrasting colours. I took a few shots - some with off-white gloves, some with purple. The purple ones often look awful on camera but I managed to capture the colour OK this time.

26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Pastel to bold gradient with something on top

This was an intriguing prompt, of course something on top meant stamping! but I did need to make sure I chose something that would stand out well over the whole gradient.
I decided I'd go pale blue to bold pink using Barry M Laguna, a really pretty pale blue and Kiko 361, a gorgeous striking pink.
Then I stamped with Lina 4 - Seasons Spring 01 with A England Polovetsian Dances.
This was such a simple mani but I really liked it and wore it for a couple of days before reluctantly removing it.

26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Mixed Tape Mani

Not such a great idea!!! I hate striping tape and when I saw this prompt I thought - oh no, no way I can cheat or avoid that - I will just have to face it. Feel the fear and do it anyway!
Well, I did it. I used my fanbrush mani as a base and then waited 'til the next day so it was properly dry before doing the tape. I only had one type of tape so I used vinyls stripes too.
I applied the tape and vinyls in a random pattern and then painted with A England Polovetsian Dances, a gorgeous dark purple holo that I thought would give the best contrast against the green and orange.
It smudged a bit in places and although I took a lot of photos there was no getting away from the fact that this was not my best work! At least I tried...
