Jacava Autumn Winter 2015 Woodlanders Collection - Ralston Street

Ralston Street is the second of the 3 polishes that Jacava sent me from the Autumn Winter 2015 Woodlanders Collection to review. This is a lovely mid grey, a really nice wearable shade, not too cool but not too warm. I love grey on my nails and this is a gorgeous shade.
It applied nicely and gave good coverage with two coats. Pictures are taken with a layer of top coat but sadly it was raining so they are not the best pictures! I think they are reasonably colour accurate but I think the weather thought - grey nails? lets make the day grey too.
Even in the poor lighting you can see how glossy the finish is and the lovely reflections! I always think these are really cool!
I'm delighted with this polish - although I love grey, I don't have many so this is a very welcome addition to my collection.

September Challenges - Neon

The prompt for #30daysofcolourchallenge was neon so I decided to do some neon stamping. I have recently bought some Esmaltes da Kelly polishes and 2 are definitely neon so I decided I'd use those.
I started with a base of Jacava Ralston Street and then I stamped using Yours Cosmetics Sascha Gossen YS03 and Esmaltes da Kelly Chuoisco - a bright neon pink. YS03 is a really sweet buffet style plate made up of paisley, floral and swirly patterns and is very detailed.
I love the contrast of the soft grey Jacava and the neon pink although I am struggling to get any sort of photo. It's shame as the polish and plate both stamped perfectly! It's worth noting the plate does need a good clean between stampings, probably because of the fine details.
Then I added a second layer of stamping using the same plate and Esmaltes da Kelly Bruce, a bright neon green.The green neon was much easier to photograph and I really love the finished combination.
