April Challenges - A Smoosh and some Spirals

This week's #smooshynailsunday colours just screamed mint choc chip icecream to me, and a lot of others too, I think. Minty green, chocolatey brown and a cream, beige shade - yum!
I used Leighton Denny Morning Dew, Not Tonight and In the Buff  and I think they worked well together.
Then I used it as my base for Spirals for #clairestelle8april. I used a large spiral pattern on Pet'la Plate Spinning and Leighton Denny Not Tonight over the smoosh.
Then I used a smaller spiral pattern from the same plate with Leighton Denny Really Royal. This actually looked pretty good but it didn't like the camera so much.

March Challenges - Minimal and Fave Mani Technique

The last Challenges for March were Minimal for #ggfnachallenge and Fave Mani Technique for #firedazedchallenge.
For minimal I chose one of my favourite nudes, Leighton Denny In the Buff, a lovely soft very slightly pinky nude.
My fave mani techniques are still smooshing and stamping so I did both!
I smooshed with Leighton Denny Between Blue, Femme Fatale and Zero Gravity over my nude base.
Then I stamped with Sascha Gossen YS12 and Barry M Pitstop and then, finally, Sascha Gossen YS12 with Nails Inc Moonlight Shadow.
I loved the final look - I think the soft muted overlapping shades worked well together.

Leighton Denny In the Buff

This was one of the first Leighton Denny varnishes I ever owned and I love it. Its a beautiful very slightly pinky nude, understated and sophisticated I think, perfect for when you want your nails to look great but not attract attention.
It painted on well and 2 coats gave good coverage.
I don't have any "nude" gloves so here it is with pale green, one shot inside with flash, and one out in the snow - far too cold to be "In the Buff"
