26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Red and Pink (circles)

This week's prompt for 26 Great Nail Art Ideas was Red and Pink. This co-incided with Clairestelle8's January challenge of Circles so I combined them.
I started with bases of Itsy Nails Drop Red Gorgeous and Itsy Nails Ooh La La, and then used Colour Alike Red Dragon and Colour Alike Sweetheart with Loja BBF 46 and Dixie Plate DP04 to stamp some rather retro looking circles.
I love both these images which is why I used both! I just couldn't decide which one!!
I couldn't get a shot without reflections so I added a coat of Freckles You Make Me So Matte.
I wouldn't generally put red and pink together but I was quite pleased with how these turned out.

26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Pastel Christmas

I had a few ideas about pretty pastelly wintery scenes but I was a bit worried they'd be too pale and the detail would be lost so I went for a more clashing pastel thing with a pastel Christmas Jumper.
I started with a base of Barry M Laguna and Barry M Bikini and then I used Dixie Plate DP06 with Esmaltes Da Kelly Bee and Colour Alike Sweetheart.
No step by step photos this time as I freehanded the blue/green split and it wasn't worthy of a photo.
Not quite sure what I think about the outcome, probably a wintery scene would have been better!
I look forward to seeing what everyone else comes up with.

When Colours Collide - Brown and Pink

I decided I'd use the layering plate by Clear Jelly Stamper - CJS-02 for this mani. I started with a base of  Leighton Denny Supermodel, and then stamped with Above the Curve Friday the 13th, Colour Alike Sweetheart, Hit the Bottle Magenta at your Own Risk and Avon Polished Pink.
The choice of polishes was restricted by which pink and browns I could actually get to work with my clear jelly stamper, I think it needs a bit more washing as it's a bit choosy with what it will pick up.
Finally I used Hehe Fairytale 002 with Barry M Surfboard to add the lacy layer and then to finish it all off I added Barry M matte top coat.
These took a long time, all that individual image stamping! I like the idea of the clear stamper but I think it will be saved for occasional use, at least until I master it a bit better!
