Days Gone Bye was actually on my wish list so when I saw someone selling it, I didn't need to google, I just pounced!
It is everything I hoped it would be, a black base with dark pinky red shimmer and those wonderful square glitters.
These polishes are meant to be buildable, as they are quite sheer. However, there are no rules on how you use a polish - my preference for polishes like these is to wear them over a solid base so I am certain of coverage. Then I add one or 2 coats depending on how much glitter I want to see.
I am pretty fussy on the glitter thing and I find trying to apply 3 or 4 coats of a sheer polish gives me too much glitter, and you can't move it around as easily as you can with a glitter topper.
Luckily for me, I found myself wanting to wear this polish at the same time as I was thinking about A England Jane Eyre and the bases are quite similar in that both have those tiny red shimmers, so it seemed efficient to me to wear Jane Eyre and then use it as undies for this one too.
I applied 2 coats and was really happy with the level of glitter, I just love those little squares!
Pictures are taken with top coat, and I finished my mani too late in the day to catch any sunlight, I was lucky to catch daylight.
I really love this polish! It's only the fourth Cadillacquer I've tried but it is definitely my favourite so far!

Gorgeous! Love a square glitter too and Cadillacquer are probably one of my favourite indie brands right now - application is flawless. Looks amazing on you x
