Polish Me Silly Everglades

Today I have to show you the most wonderful flakie. Flakies were around and very exciting when I first got into nails about 3 years ago - I thought they were great, look pretty uninspiring in the bottle but wow on the nail, the iridescent flakes catching the light in the most magical way. But now, well, move over old flakies, these new colour shifting flakies are something else, utterly awesome (to use a word seriously over-used by my son!)
It does seem that a lot of brands are bringing them out, I won't be buying them all but I did treat myself to a few just to see how much better they were.
Everglades is my first ever Polish Me Silly polish, and what a place to start. Maximum impact for very little effort, it painted on so easily, gorgeous finish, perfect flakie distribution, and allowed me to take its picture too!
I used a base of Nails Inc New York Noir and then added 2 coats of Everglades, to be honest the wow factor was there after 1 coat, but the 2nd coat just made sure!!
Everglade flakies shift from bright green through teal to deep blue - since my favourite nail colours are green and blue it was clearly made for me, and I am so delighted that when I looked at the pictures I'd taken, I can see the colours clearly.
I wore this polish for a day and then I just had to add a coat of matte top coat. My Avon matte top coat does have a bit of a peachy shimmer, but it does the job and I think they look great!
